He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vivian Johansen and Hulda Amelia Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Wright Johansen; his children, Lisa K. Johansen (Dan Bolick), John Scott Johansen (Marlaine McGary) and Nicole Titsing (Blaine Duhn); his grandchildren, John Blake Johansen (Bethani Watkins), Kaden Scott Johansen (Arden Evensen), Myah Schulz and Madeline Schulz; his sisters, Joyce Linebarger (Robert) and Viola; and also, Haylee, Aubree, Hunter, Ann and Frank.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mountain Heights Chapel (175 Rocky Mountain Blvd W, Lethbridge, AB T1K6S4).
