He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Goodsell and Ruby Jane Thran; his brother-in-law Ernie Strickland; and his father-in-law Alan Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Goodsell; his children, Jason Goodsell (Michele), Edward Goodsell (Amara), Robert Goodsell (Cari-Jo) and Roberta Clarke; his grandchildren, Albert Goodsell, Emily Goodsell, Cheyenne Clarke, David Goodsell and Ryden Goodsell; his siblings, Sandra Strickland, Marianna Hofmeister (Ron), Denis Thran (Anita) and Mike Thran; and his mother-in-law Mary Roberts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
