He was predeceased by: his father Nick Kowalchuk. He is survived by: his wife Margo Kowalchuk; his daughters, Ginnine Huyghebaert of Moose Jaw and Nicole Kowalchuk of Calgary; his stepdaughters, Kristin Bodnar of Taber and Karen O'Neill of Penticton; his mother Sophie Kowalchuk; and his siblings, Ladimer Kowalchuk, Maurice Kowalchuk and Donna Rogers. He is also survived by his family and friends.
