He was predeceased by: his parents, Karless "Curly" Stewart and Della Jensen Stewart; his brothers, Gary (Hugh) and Donald; and his daughter-in-law Roxy Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Dora Castillo; his children, Shannon Gillis (Brian), Cameron (Ara Jorgenson), Bruce (Amy), Robert and Heather Jubber (Justin); his stepsons, Igor Castillo (Lisa) and Boris Arroyo (Mari); and his brothers, Calvin (Anne) and Randy (Lynda). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
