He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Lynette Koldyk; his parents, Rintje Koldyk and Bette Koldyk; his siblings, Sybren, Johannes, Clarence, James and Elisabeth Verspeek; and his son-in-law David Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife B. Kay Koldyk; his daughter Janet; his son-in-law Chris Bice; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Koldyk of Portage, Irene Koldyk of MacGregor, MB, Lily Koldyk of Brandon, MB, Brian Johnson of Calgary, AB, Garry and Mayanne Johnson of Claresholm, AB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
