She was predeceased by: her parent Maurice Mercier; and her parents-in-law, Grace Marks and Stan Marks. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Parkinson (Kevin) and Sherry Laackmann (Russel); her grandchildren, Tyler Beninger (Shannon), Kylie Beninger (Dylan), Max Laackmann and Zane Laackmann; her great grandchild Wolf Beninger; and her husband Garry. She is also survived by her friends, sister in laws, and daughters.

Due to Covid Restrictions a Celebration of Helen's Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lomond Community Center Agricultural Society, Box 264 Lomond AB T0L 1G0 to support the construction of the new Center.
