He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Schroeder and Sara Schroeder (Doerksen); his former wife Willo (Sutherland); his siblings, Bill (Hilda Ens), Sally (Frank Isaac), George (Helen Steer), Elfrieda (John Bergmann) and Wally (Jennie Oshanski); and his brother-in-law Bob Loewen.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Fulton-Schroeder; his children, Timothy (Amanda Thomas) and Jennifer (Sheldon Dyck); his stepchildren, Nancy, Cindy, Rebecca Johnson and Allan (Karen Brown); his grandchildren, Jennifer Horkoff (Keiron Hayes), Shawn Johnson, Alexandria Middleton (Zach Strauss), Dustyn Schroeder, Lucas Middleton, Julian Higgins, James Johnson, Noah Higgins, Kayla Guzzi (Nik), Kendra Dyck (Julian Williams) and William Schroeder; his great grandchildren, Felix Strauss and Addison Toews; his siblings, Mary Loewen of Steinbach and Len; and his sister-in-law Mary of Kelowna. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McKillop United Church (2329 15 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1K2L8).
