She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her son Ernie Sidney; her granddaughter Sherri Den Braber; her son-in-law Lorne Reierson; her parents, Ulbe and Willemke; her stepmother Johanna; her sisters-in-law, Wilma and Nellie; and her stepbrothers, Gerald and Dick.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Holtrop (Deb Beringer), Wilma Fujita (Doug), Shirley Den Braber (Rob), Annie Van Herk, Jeanette Bigford (Barry) and Teresa Holtrop; her grandchildren, Tammy Orsak (Jon), Kyle Fujita (Marta Bolek), Ryan Den Braber (Janine), Tania Appelt (Collin), Cara Townsend (Keith), Tony Van Herk (Lysa), Jolene Allen (Brody), Michelle Vanderwekken (Peter), Danielle Van Herk (Zach Delday), Robert Holtrop, Jordan Holtrop, Jeremy Van Braak (Christine Irwin), Jessica Smith (Steve), James Van Braak (Lisa), Sarah Reierson (Blake Thompson) and Rylan Reierson; and her siblings, Peter Sandstra (Hazel), Mike Sandstra (Lila), Marvin Sandstra (Wilma), Jenny Wright (Wayne), Sid Sandstra (Jeanette), Jan DeJong (Joan), Magda Dykstra (Jim), Johan DeJong (Marian), Joanne Rozendaal (Curt), Tony DeJong and Henry DeJong (Linda). She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
