He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitsuo Karaki and Sachie Karaki (Iwaasa); and his brother Melvin. He is survived by: his brothers, George (Geraldine), Gordon (Mihoko) and Victor (Roxanne); his sister-in-law Etsuko (Melvin); and his sisters, Joy Lang (Stewart) and Linda Finkbeiner (Wayne).
