He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Lousie Kearns; his parents, Fred Sr. Kearns and Anastasia 'Hannah' Kearns (Cadigan); his siblings, Marie Kearns, Liz Hunter (Vern), Helen Hensel (Charlie) and Patrick 'Paddy' Kearns (Stella); and his sisters-in-law, Marion Schramm (Charlie) and Elizabeth 'Toots' Kearns (Jack).
He is survived by: his son Ken Kearns (Monica); his grandchild Barrett Kearns (Eisha); his great grandchild Nicholas Kearns (Phoenix Wouda) of Lethbridge; his granddaughters, Bonnie Kearns (Raif Shath) and Tiffany Kearns (Kyle Heitman) of Coaldale; his brother Jack Kearns of Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Baker (Ed) and Charlie Schramm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
