Erna Dueck Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2021, Erna Dueck in Lethbridge, Alberta, born in Vauxhall, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Friesen and Elsie Friesen; her stepfather Henry Wall; and her brothers, John and Melvin Friesen.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Dueck; her children, Jenn Dick (Irv), Jo Laychuk (Derrick) and Trav Dueck (Mel); her grandchildren, Kierra, Kaleb, Christian, Ethan, Rennie, Austin and Kailee; and her siblings, Verner Friesen (Eleanore), Erv Friesen (Dorothy), Esther Friesen, Brenda Metcalfe (Tom), Del Dueck (Betty) and Bonnie Dueck (Arnie Bartel). She is also survived by mother and grandmother, and the most loyal of friends.
As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19 and the government recommendations, a private burial service was held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery followed by a private funeral service at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 2:00 P. M.
