He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Barendregt; his son Leeson Barendregt; his parents, Casey Barendregt and Ali Barendregt; and his brother-in-law John Van Sluys.
He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Barendregt (Jessica) and Tanner Barendregt (Bev Chrupka); his siblings, Rene Barendregt, Leon Barendregt (Shari), Marianne Vanee (Hank) and Gerda Van Sluys; and his mother-in-law Joyce Rollingson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
