We bid farewell to Douglas James Berry of Lethbridge, Alberta, born in Waterton Park, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 21, 2024 at the age of 73. Douglas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Douglas shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Douglas farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Berry and Doris Berry; and his brothers, Glen and Peter. He is survived by: his wife Diana; his son John Wojtowicz (Bernadine); his brother Robert Berry (Dani); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Berry (Glen) and Sharee Berry (Peter).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel (610 4 St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J4P3). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
