He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Sawa and Carol Sawa. He is survived by: his close friend Charmaine Zucchiatti; his siblings, Susan Lanz (Garnet) and Glen Sawa (Tammy); his nieces, Marie Lanz (Steven), Amber Walsh, Shaelee Sawa and Shelby Sawa; and also, Patience Lea (Scott), Kaylee Zucchiatti, Brodie and Tate.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Croatian Centre of Lethbridge (3794 30 St N, Lethbridge, AB T1H6Z4).
