With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chiye Matsumoto of Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Massey Matsumoto; her parents, Katsube Fukami and Asako Fukami; and her siblings, Malcom (Sachiko), Marie (Ted Saito) and Tom Fukami.
She is survived by: her spouse Masanari Matsumoto (Massey); her sons, Robert (Bob) of Lethbridge and Gerald (Jerry) of Calgary; her grandson Todd Matsumoto of Calgary; her great grandchildren, Cai and Laurann; her grandchild Kerri Matsumoto of Calgary; her children, Reed, Shae, Corey Matsumoto of Powell River, B. C and Jerianne (Glen Legrow) of Calgary; her grandchildren, Ryan and Mya; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Fukami of Kamloops, B. C. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
