He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Donald (Julie Hauser), Laurie (Cal Koskowich) and Charlotte (Darren Lloyd); his grandchildren, Gramps, Elizabeth, Laurie Haig, Daniel, Larisa (Colin Hodd), Kara (Taylor Elkjaer), Ben Koskowich, Grace and Emily Lloyd; his siblings, Betty Gray and Dr. T. H. Brian Haig; and his parents, Dr. Arthur Haig and Phyllis Haig. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
