He was predeceased by: his father Arend; and his sister Irene. He is survived by: his son Aren Joel Lagemaat; his mother Tina; his sister Sylvia Drake (Rob); his nephew Steven (Chrystal); his brother Ron (Annette); his nieces, Destiny Dilley (Thomas), Danielle Leurebourg (Price) and Mikhaila; his nephew Zachary (Alexandra); and his great-niece Nova.
