Linda Mockford Obituary

The memory of Linda Mockford (Leslieville, Alberta), who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Smith and Lucille Smith. She is survived by: her husband Don Mockford; her daughters, Sherry Wysocki (Rob) of Fort Saskatchewan and Loralie Brown (Marc) of Winnipeg; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Vanessa, Maia, Avery and Markus. She is also survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bethel Union Church.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Linda's name to the Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
