He was predeceased by: his parents, Horst Gruenheidt and Mary Gruenheidt; his grandmother Rosa Schwarz; his wife Elizabeth; his brother Lothar; and his brother-in-law Stan Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberley (Jason) and Tony (Joanne); his stepdaughter Cheryl (Michael); his siblings, Bay (Bill) and Manfred (Wanda); his sisters-in-law, June Olson and Jeanette Gruenheidt; his grandchildren, Travis, Connor, Hayden, Keegan, Anthony, Sheldon (Jan), Heather (John) and Zachary (Jennifer); his friends, Tristan, Serena and Brian; and his close friend Lino. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
