Roderick Gerald Kuzio Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick Gerald Kuzio (Leduc, Alberta), born in Thorsby, Alberta, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Kuzio and Katie Kuzio; his siblings, George and Eva; and his in-laws, John, Shirley, Jim, Alex, Joe, Allan, Alf and Elaine.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Tanya (Cory), Trina (Jeff) and Troy (Chantel); his grandchildren, Braden (Aidan), Ashley (Hunter), Hailee, Alyssa, Elicia, Riley, Justin, Ty, Summer, Jager and Lakelynn; his great grandchild Blake; his siblings, Helen, Joe, Verna, Shirley (Ron), Danny, Larry (Sharon), Phyllis, Jeannie (Les), Marlene (Dave) and Dale (Colleen); his in-laws, Albert and Mary Gette; and his brother-in-law Richard. He is also survived by his many family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael's RC Church (5105 45a St, Leduc, AB T9E5X1). A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calmar Legion.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rod's honor could be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Extendicare Leduc, or Friends of the Eastern Slopes (Rod's favorite riding trails).
