He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold H. Keeping and Alva E. Keeping; and his siblings, Elizabeth Sheardown (Betty-Lou) and George Keeping. He is survived by: his wife Rowena Catherine Keeping (Hynes); his children, Robb (Trina Collins) and Kelly (Mike Gale); his grandchildren, Noah Keeping, Aeryn Keeping, Caelan Keeping, Malcolm Gale and Gwendolyn Gale; his siblings, Joan Gale, Claudia Lawrence and Maxwell Keeping; and his in-laws, Tina Keeping, Bernice Keeping, Doug Hynes, Helen Hynes, Edmund Hynes and Therri Letourneau. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (4702 51 Ave, Leduc, AB T9E6Y8). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (4416 50 St, Leduc, AB T9E4Z6). A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Leduc City Cemetery.
