It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marie Hanas (Leduc, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 94, on January 6, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Pankewicz and Jennie Pankewicz (Walter) of Sunnybrook, AB; her son David; and her siblings, Pete, John, Fred, Mike, Wasyl Pankewicz, Anne Lickacz and Francis Hook.

She is survived by: her husband Walter Hanas; her children, William, Dale (Candace) and Cindy (Don); her daughter-in-law Jane; her sister Stella Pankewicz; her grandchildren, Tim, Brett, Greg, Jarad and Jenna; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Emmie, Nathan, Brixlyn, Aspyn, Bauer and Benjamin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. John's Baptist Church in Thorsby or to a charity of your choice.
