Laura Sommers Obituary
We bid farewell to Laura Sommers of Leduc, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 19, 2025 at the age of 101. Laura touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her children, Alvin and Marilyn; her grandson Richard; her mother Matilda; and her siblings, Bill, Fred, Steve, Ida, Bertha, Elsie and Martha.
She is survived by: her sons, Ellerey (Lorraine) and Marvin (Candace); and her grandchildren, Cory (Joyce), Christina, Tina (Greg), Bradley (Dae-Lin) and Brian (Saryn). She is also survived by several Great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (5115 48 Ave, Thorsby, AB T0C0C5).
