He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Kuny and Polly Kuny; his siblings, Josephine Pyra (Clifford), Carl Kuny, Peter Kuny (Olga) and John Kuny (Pearl); his sister-in-law Shirley Kuny; his niece Jeanette Dunn; and his granddaughter Amanda Maciborsky.

He is survived by: his wife Emma; his children, Joanne Maciborsky (Errol), Ruby Stefura (Rod), Donnie Kuny (Shannon) and Lorne Kuny (Jacquie); his son-in-law Barry Dunn; his siblings, Jean Lee, George Kuny (Alfie) and Walter Kuny; and his sister-in-law Clara Kuny. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
