He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lucinda and Myra Lucinda; and his siblings, Robert, Leonard, Gordon, Hughie, Donald, Kenneth, Alice, Roy and Phyllis.

He is survived by: his sisters, Florence, Mary and Edith; his half-brother Harvey; his wife Murial; his daughters, Marion Ross (Chuck), Marilyn McConnell, Iris Astle (Ken) and Joyce Gibbons (Rob); his great grandchild James McConnell; his grandchildren, Amy Weller (Kevin), Heather Nixon (Paul), Stacey Gibbons, Jonathan Gibbons (Jasmine) and Stephen Gibbons; his great grandchildren, Kaidyn Weller, Kendric Weller, Hannah Nixon and Lauren Nixon; and his grandson Matt Lemont.
