She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her siblings, Ewald and Hedwig; her grandson Perry; and her son-in-law Murray.

She is survived by: her children, Emil (Irene), Darlene Laba (Walter), Doreen Schrader and Deb Eklund (Grant); and her brothers, Harold and Arnold. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
