He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; his stepdaughter Karen Abel; his siblings, Herb, Harry, Leona and Lawrence; and his parents, Gustave and Lydia.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Bienert (Margie) and Debbie Regehr (Kevan); his stepdaughter Kelly Miller (Glenn); his grandchildren, Dan Regehr (Melanie), Liesel Wierenga (Chris), Krista Andermatt (Dave) and Emily Bienert (Nolan Boucher); and his stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Abel (Adam Saltesz), Becky Tougas (Zoltan), Christy Kuettel (Sacha), Tracy Drew (Cam) and Kelsey Ulm (Tom).
