She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Sleen; her children, Craig Sleen and Tracey Van Der Veen (Ken); her granddaughters, Katrina Van Der Veen (Matt Walker) and Natasha Van Der Veen; and her brother Bob Burke (Arlene).

Eileen was not one for flowers and instead wished for people to donate, in lieu, to the Cross Cancer Institute.
