Arthur Birkholz Obituary

The memory of Arthur Birkholz (Leduc, Alberta), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Birkholz and Lydia Birkholz; his son-in-law Curtis Waters; his son Rudy; his grandchildren, Shane Lange and Connie Posein; his sister Irene Nickle; and his brothers-in-law, Clem Nickle and Ernest Heppner.

He is survived by: his wife Lucy Birkholz; his children, Doris Chaput (Bruce) of Sherwood Park, Bernice Ferster (Greg) of Leduc, Gary Birkholz (Marcie) of Barrhead and Randy Birkholz (Caroline) of Leduc; and his siblings, Margaret Heppner, Mary Heppner (Lawrence), Norman Birkholz (Jane), Lil Laiss (Bill) and Eileen Pretzlaf (Oskar). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Leduc Community Hospital Foundation.
