He was predeceased by: his daughter Kenzie; and his brother-in-law Clifford Tetzlaff. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his child Alexandrea; his parents, Harold Boswell and Yvonne Boswell; his sister Leigh; his nephew Jarvis; his parents-in-law, Bob and May Wong; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Wong (Kristie), Steven Wong (May) and Lorraine Fish (Cory); and his nieces and nephews, Brandon, Emma, Austin, Ethan, Ariana, Charlie and Lennox.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Kids With Cancer Society (KWCS), Canadian Cancer Society or the Pilgrims Hospice in Edmonton.
