The memory of Peter Letwin (Lamont, Alberta), born in Star, Alberta, who passed away on September 7, 2024 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Wowniar; his children, Michael and Marilyn; his siblings, Anita Padlecki (Joe), Viola Letwin, Brenda Letwin and John Letwin; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Zacharko and Harry Holyk.

He is survived by: his sons, Ted (Donna), Terry (Bonnie) and Wayne (Berni); his son-in-law Perry Koroluk; his siblings, Mary Holyk, Sylvia Zacharko, Amil Letwin and Dr. Ervin Letwin; his grandchildren, Jenna (Justin), Travis (Sara), Jason (Rebecca), Tyler, Hailey (Josh), Kerri (George), Kurtis, Brittney (Michael), Krista (Tere) and Miranda (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Sydney, Owen, William, Benjamin, Evan, Blake, Chase and Ayden.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (13819 82 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5E2V6).
