He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida and Thomas; his stepmother Beatrice; and his siblings, Donald, Reg, John, Jack and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; and his children, Daryl Wilkes (Yvonne), Brenda Pletz (Dennis), Lynn Patton (Grant) and Reg Wilkes (Gaylene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and an abundance of friends.
