He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ruf and Katherine Ruf; his wife Remona Nabe; his granddaughter Mikaela Court; his brother Edgar; and his sister-in-law Linda.
He is survived by: his children, Corinne, Doug Ruf (Diane), Karen Hache (Gaetan), Cheryl Court (Jerry), Twyla Campbell and Corey Warren (Alan); his siblings, Harry Ruf (Ruth) of Edmonton, Viola Engel (Alfred) of Vernon and Audrey Anderson (Bill) of Florida; his granddaughters, Sarah Ruf (Lance Stilborn) and Lisa Ruf (Garret Yurchuk); his great grandchild Oscar; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Willem (Noah Court), Erin (Paige Campbell), Tristan Hache and Cole (Kaylee Warren).
