It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorence L. Nahorney in Lacombe, Alberta, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his parents, Walter and Dora; his parents-in-law, Anna and Jakob; and his siblings-in-law, Verne Kraushar, Bunty Nahorney, Evelyn Hawes (Doug), Forest Davis, Elvina Stearns, Gerry McKenzie, Audi Thiessen and Donetta Thiessen.
He is survived by: his children, Barry (Diane) of Boyle, Kerry (Darlene) of Edmonton, Todd (Gwen) of Edmonton, Cindy Thomson (Brian Brownlee) of Eckville, Brad (Shelley), Rae Nielsen (Russ) of Morningside, Trevor (Juanita) of Morningside and Landon of Eckville; his siblings, Albert of Edmonton, Joanne Kraushar of Red Deer, Helen Humenny (Mike) of Watson, SK and Don (Marcia) of Kelowna, BC; and his siblings-in-law, Myrtle Davis, Mel Stearns of Lacombe, Marion McKenzie of Mayerthorpe, June Thiessen of Snellville, Georgia and Frannie Vanbemmel (Bert) of Chatham, ON. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
