It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Cookson of Lacombe, Alberta, born in Lougheed, Alberta, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Cookson and Herbert Cookson; his children, Bruce, John, Robert and Sally; his grandchildren, Amanda Cookson, Jasmin Abt (Jeff), Matt (Kristy), Chelsea (Landon), Jill Weenink (Will), Katerina and John Cookson; his great grandchildren, Maverick and Keely; his wife Ann; and also, Hania, Moira (Williams), Shirley (Mitchell) and Ken (Weenink).
