Henry Thiessen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Thiessen of Lacombe, Alberta, who passed away on October 8, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thiessen and Helen Thiessen (Harder); his siblings, John, Frank and Olga (Dan); and his brother-in-law Jake.

He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth and Karen; his wife Vivian Thiessen; his son Richard Thiessen (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Evi and Ben; his great grandchild Ruth Callender (Jamie); his sisters, Gertrude and Justine (Clarence); his sisters-in-law, Elma and Kathy; and also, Isabelle, Madeleine, Helena, Jesse, Zeke, Karen Dyck (Ken), Keegan, Karsten and Khloe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In memory of Henry Thiessen, donations made to Ethnos 360 (formerly known as New Tribes Mission) would be appreciated by the family.
