She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram Martens and Anna Martens; her siblings, Judith and Henry; her daughter Judy; and her son-in-law Laymon Whyte.
She is survived by: her spouse Sam Bergen; her children, Les (Judy), Vic (Sue), Karen (David), Sylvia (Peter), Doris and Wilfred (Gloria); her grandchildren, Sean and Christy (Andrew); her children, Nate, Leni, Reid, Nicole (Jesse), Karly (John), Marla, Eric (Paula), Katrina, Elayna (Josh), Marie (Brandon) and Arlo; her siblings, Abe (Margaret), Cornie (Marlene), John, Walter (Rosella), Peter (Terry), Anita and Hertha; and her sisters-in-law, Hilda Bergen and Anne Cornies. She is also survived by her grandmother, four aunts and an uncle.
