He was predeceased by: his brother Garth; his father Gordon; and his father-in-law John. He is survived by: his daughter Kaylin; his wife Tammy; his mother Ann; his sister Lorna (Lloyd); his aunt Ruth (Gord); his cousins, Kent and Dana Karapita (Cheryl); and his mother-in-law Linda.

A Celebration will be held this summer, when COVID restrictions allow for hugs and handshakes.
