He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pauline, Alice, John and Charles. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Adam and Jason (Jacqueline); and his brother Alvin Dobirstein.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Lacombe Memorial Centre (5214 50 Ave, Lacombe, AB T4L0B6).
