It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy McInnis of Lacombe, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 96, on August 11, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her brother Lorne Ellwood; her children, Jerry McInnis, Linda McInnis, Lynda (Sandy), Wanda (Chuck Kingdom) and Brenda (Lantry Vaughan); her grandchildren, Leah, Doug Streight, Marni McInnis, Jeff, Sherry McInnis, Natalie Vaughan, Levi Carlson, Kyle Vaughan and Nicole Woodman; and her great grandchildren, Jesse, Sadie Streight, Lauren, Hayden Bettenson, Keith, Paula, Claire McInnis, Lowell and Sullivan Vaughan. She is also survived by the husbands worked off and, on the farm, mom and Ollie were farm wives.
We were excited to be able to see her more often, post Covid, which she successfully dodged, but her health failed in recent weeks.
She was recognized for 25 years of service to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation, at the age of 88.
