It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Deschambeau (Lac la Biche, Alberta), who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Laboucane and Genevieve Laboucane; her husband Charles Deschambeau; her sons, Marvin "Jumbo", William and Dean; her grandchildren, Jason "Deeds" Cardinal, Arlene Bacon, Nichole Gladue and Sarah Deschambeau; and her siblings, Sam, Peter, Ernest, Alvina and Annie.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernest Delano (Marylyn), Miles (Roxanne), Don (Lorna) and Douglas; her grandsons, Earl Bacon (Val) and Trevor Cardinal; and her sisters-in-law, Arema Laboucane and Lorraine Laboucane. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
