He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Ballantyne; his parents, Rema Ballantyne and George Ballantyne; and his siblings, Eileen Laliberte, Grace Naytowhow, Sally Badger-Ballantyne, Florence Henderson, Leslie Ballantyne and Maurice Ballantyne.
He is survived by: his children, Calvin Ballantyne, Marcy Ballantyne, Christine Ballantyne, Lindsey Ballantyne (Jamie) and Waylon Ballantyne; his grandchildren, Leanna, Keyanna, Angel, Kaneisha, Alaira, Crae, Jaydess, Shalaya, Talon, Gage, Miikka, Laylon, Traeton, Keilyn, Keegan, Christina and Everest; and his sister Gail Sanderson (Dave).
A wake was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the SIR Winston Churchill Provincial Park (Unnamed Rd, Lac la Biche, AB T0A2C0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the SIR Winston Churchill Park Hall (Unnamed Rd, Lac la Biche, AB T0A2C0).
