She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Brodyk of Smoky Lake, Alberta; and her parents, Fred Shcartner and Adelaide Shcartner of Grand Prairie, Alberta.. She is survived by: her children, Trent Brodyk (Shylah) of Smoky Lake and Amanda Stedman (Jason); her sister Teresa Hanson of Grand Prairie, Alberta; and her grandchildren, Gavin Brodyk, Allysa Brodyk, Gabriel Stedman and Sydney Stedman.
