Ralph Whitford Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Whitford of Lac la Biche, Alberta, who passed away on November 30, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Lorraine, Arnold and Elmer; his parents, Irene and John; his stepmother Flora Whitford; his siblings, Liz, Raymond, Francis and David Halfe; his daughter-in-law Kim; and his close friend Alvina Desjarlais-Boucher.

He is survived by: his children, Ron Lameman (Donna) of Beaver Lake, Adrian Whitford (Marda) of Edmonton, Russ Whitford (Marie) of Redcliff, AB, Gerald Whitford (Cathy), Randy Whitford of Beaver Lake and Cliff Whitford of Edmonton; his siblings, Delia, Josephine (Wayne), Violet, Doris (Wesley), Lawrence (Mary), Donald, John and David Half; and his uncle Joe G. Cardinal. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service officiated by Reverend Robert Wright is being held.

In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ralph can be made to the Lac La Biche Canadian Native Friendship Centre Foodbank.
