It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oretta Cardinal of Lac la Biche, Alberta, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph A Cardinal, Elmere Tremblay, Rita and Peter Deschambeau; her father Harold Deschambeau; and her sisters, Shannon Napesis and Barb Napesis.
She is survived by: her children, Adles Cardinal (Halle) and Bryson Cardinal (Caroline); her mother Carolyn Huppie; her siblings, Clayton Huppie, Sam Napesis, Lance Fritz, Cody Fritz, Alison Bowen, Gina Huppie, Monica Huppie, Sharon Napesis, Bonnie, Mandi Boucher, Jessie Boucher, Meggie, Alannah Boucher, Nadine and Baby Sharon; and her cousins, Joe Gladu, Keith Whitford and Charmaine Cardinal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
