She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Shaffer; her parents, Florence Boostrom and Joseph Gregoire; her daughters, Sandra and Charlotte; and her siblings, Donna Boostrom Woodward, Algina Monias, James Boostrom, Real Boostrom and Lawrence Boostrom.
She is survived by: her children, Sykes Shaffer, Susan Troniak (Patrick) and Shane Shaffer (Liz); and her siblings, Remi Boostrom (Maxine), Denis Boostrom (Norma), Gary Boostrom and Ramona Lien. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
