She was predeceased by: her husband George Kozakevich; her daughter Doris Gauthier; her daughter-in-law Vivenne Kozakevich (Bernie); her sister Sylvia Wowk; her parents, William Eleniak and Helen Eleniak-Kitt; her brothers, Paul Eleniak, Peter Eleniak and Joe Eleniak; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Eleniak, Edward Wowk and Leonard Chernyk.
She is survived by: her children, Bernie Kozakevich of Fort Saskatchewan, Shirley Taylor (Dale) of Fort Saskatchewan, Orest Kozakevich of Sylvan Lake, Dale Kozakevich (Lea) and Eugene Kozakevich (Charlene) of Duncan, BC; her grandchildren, Twyla (Darrin), Kimberley (Lawrence), Heather (Brad), Jordan (Bobbie-Jo), Camille (Sean), Joshua (Katelyn), Wren (Giovanna), Kelly, Jerad, Jenna, Lyndsay (Mathew), Layne (Kevin), Kelsie (Jordan), Carter (Kaneesha) and Nicholas; her sisters, Nancy Chernyk of Fort Saskatchewan and Sophie Ratzoy (Metro) of Fort Saskatchewan; and her sister-in-law Katie Eleniak of Chipman. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations send donations to St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Craigend, AB.Internment will follow in the St. Demetrius cemetery.
