He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, Fred Lyons and Doris Lyons; and his brother-in-law Cam Sellick. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Lyons (Darcie), Ray (Cindy), Joan Sellick and Joyce Johnson; and his children, Nancy Broadbent (Michael), Barbara Bomersback (Dean) and Patrick Lyons (Carmen). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hylo Ag Society, the Lac La Biche Health Foundation or Haying in the 30s.
