He was predeceased by: his parents, Hormidas Berard and Julia Berard; his wife Annie Baldhead; his children, Ernest Berard, Lynda Berard, Theresa Berard, Margaret Berard, Brenda Berard, Helen Baldhead and Clifford Baldhead; and his siblings, Leo Berard, Peter Berard, Norman Berard, Mike Berard, Alice Berard, Isabel Jacknife, Cecile Tiedemann and Mary Krueger.
He is survived by: his children, Lorraine Whitford (Ron), Nelson Baldhead (Jackie) and Irene Berard; his adoptive son Andy Quintal; his daughter-in-law Lisa Quintal; and his stepson Clarence Halfe (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake, Alberta. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
