Joan Staples Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Staples (Lac la Biche, Alberta), born in Grouard, Alberta, who passed away on September 27, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean and Marguerite; and her brothers, Sonny and Brian. She is survived by: her siblings, Valerie Strudwick (Kent), Donna Alexander (Blaine), Rosemarie Bellrose (Cecil) and Guy Giroux (Vonda); her children, Chris and Michael; and her grandchildren, Sean, Lyra and Olive.
A public Celebration of Life will be held in Joan's honour at the Lac La Biche Royal Canadian Legion McGrane Branch #28 (10101 Churchill Drive) on Saturday, October 13, starting at 2:30 pm In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan's honour to the Lac La Biche Canadian Native Friendship Centre.
